I am trying to research the roots of my family. Specifically I am looking for information about how my grandfather (Maurice Henry Parry) and his family came to live in North London, before he migrated with his family to Western Australia in the 1960s. There are several million Parrys littered all over the world, obviously we are a prolific family, so I would like to find out how we fit in.
Cheers

Hi
I cant help you in your quest, but I'm a Parry from South Africa. There are very few of us there, and most of us are related. I'm staying in Finchley with my aunt. I dont know if this little tit-bit will interest you but the Parry's of Cape Town are the only non-white Parry's that i know of.
A few years ago my dad went to Wales and found a Parry clan there. He still needs to give me the details.
Good luck with your search.

yeah, the Parrys are a sept of the Tudor clan as far as I can tell. the Parry family motto is Heb Dduw heb Ddym, Duw a Dygon. That is interesting that the Parrys in Cape Town arent white, but then I guess that the same would be true of many Parrys from the South of the USA also. I guess it also depends on what you class as white! the motto loosely translates to "without God we have nothing, with God we have plenty" but my Cymraeg is not the best! Are there many other PArrys in ZA?

Hi, I'm also a Parry in South Africa but i'm white. My dad was Richard Parry from Lank and he is married to Margret Lesley MacDoald from Scottland in the UK. I'm trying to research my family tree. I also live near Cape Town. Please if you could give me a little information on the Parry Family, i would be very grateful!!!
Thank You!!
