i know my grandfather (arthur bouchard) parents names were josephine lefebvre and phillippe bouchard. they were married in penetanguishene, ontario the 30th of jan 1893. i am trying to find out their parents names and where they originated from. if any one can help , thank you

Hello Peggy: As Phillippe Bouchard does not appear on the 1881 Canadian Census, I think he has a name before Phillippe. Josephine and Phillippe probably came from Quebec. If they were married in 1893, they were born about 1873. Most Bouchards and Lefebvre are from Quebec. I believe you will find they were married at:

I don't know if they will give you any information. I could not find email address. But in the book of marriages, it will give the parents names of Josephine and Phillippe.

In the marriage book that I have:
Felix Bouchard, son of Latin & Delphine Garneau; married Jan 30, 1893 at Penetang to Josephine Lefaivre, daughter of Onesime & Amelie Jodoin.
